About
Yeri is an illustrator living in Los Angeles.
Her original background is in illustration, but she is also a self-taught Houdini FX artist and has worked in the film industry in Montreal.
Her works are inspired by her experience as a child immigrant: the ephemeral existence in between cultures. Despite the sense of belonging to nowhere, powerful ethereal beings emerge and take their place in her illustrative works.
Before, she had taken a long break from her art, thinking that her works do not belong anywhere. Now, she is taking her place in the world, just like the evanescent beings in her works.
When she’s not drawing, she loves to travel, read books, write stories, and play video games.
